Alrighty, then. I survived the rest of today rather well. My mother’s birthday is looming in the horizon, so I found two tickets to see the Chieftains at Mondavi Center in Davis.

The rest of the day was spent doing my duties as lead for the weak. I worked on some Quality Assurance processes which somehow I ended up getting on the hot seat on. That’s okay; I’m good for it. Furthermore, I take great joy in taking a rogue meeting by the horns and guiding it towards something productive.

More news on lack of WMDs, but I have not the time to process it.

One of my coworkers is in the habit of disappearing and not telling the rest of the team where he’s at, nor is he answering his cell phone. Odd, that. It’s a bad sign when the men of the department suspect he’s having an affair.

Tonight’s plan after work:
-Gym: Run at least two miles
-Gas Station. Sta-puft, the Marshmallowmobile, is thirsty!
-Costco: I need the metric ton bag o’ Johnny Cat and hand soap, at least.
-Target: Alarm clocks, alarm clocks, ALARM CLOCKS! I’m hoping I can find something like Andy Serkis, who will trot on my bed and say, “Wake up, Sleepies!”
