Profiles in Lust: the New Vehicle
Jan. 19th, 2004 05:05 pmOh wow…
I’ve been thinking of getting a new car this year. And yes, I want a sport utility vehicle. However, I was trying to look for the safest vehicle with the best mileage. The Subaru Forester is getting great reviews, as is the Toyota Highlander. I’m approved for a 35k loan (which I don’t want to use all of). However, on Toyota’s web site today, they announced that in 2005, they’ll be coming out with a hybrid Highlander. It can go 600 miles on one tank o’ gas. I think one of their models has effectively 270 hp.
I think I’ll have to wait for a bit before I get my next car. Which is fine, I don’t need one right away, at least yet. I’ve had my Toyota Corolla for nearly 9 years, come March. It’s got 130,000 miles on it.
