Mar. 16th, 2004 04:34 pmJust look at this.
The president is encouraging John Kerry to back up flippant claims that other leaders want Bush out of office.
Bush just wants to make Kerry jealous because Kerry doesn't have a whole group in the Pentagon that is paid to fabricate facts/intelligence to justify his actions.
Bush should take a wild guess and figure that since half of us want him out, at least that percentage of nations want him out, too.

Yes, but I just got this e-mail... so much fun!
Date: 2004-03-16 08:11 pm (UTC)Dear Friend,
You and I have made history together before. It's time to make some more.
Just a week after President Bush began his multi-million advertising blitz, Republicans have gone negative with the first of what will certainly be a barrage of attack ads. This is a major test for John Kerry's campaign -- and it's a significant opportunity for you and me.
It's our chance to demonstrate that, in 2004, we're not going to yield an inch to the Republican attack machine when it comes to defining what this campaign is all about. It's our chance to give John Kerry the kind of immediate, dramatic support he needs to stand toe-to-toe with the President and force him to debate the real issues in this campaign.
March 16, 2004 -- Let's make today the day that the entire Democratic Party spoke with one voice and launched the most successful 10-day fundraising drive in our Party's history. Here's my challenge to you: Send a donation right now to help me launch a "$10 Million in 10 Days" fundraising drive for John Kerry's campaign. Let's send donations flooding in to Kerry headquarters.

John Kerry's $10 Million in 10 Days Campaign.
Today, you and I can send a powerful message to John Kerry. We can promise him that we will never let him stand alone in the face of Republican attacks. In the days ahead, you'll be hearing from forceful voices from all across the Democratic Party -- all united in our determination to carry our values to victory in 2004. But, don't wait to act. Join me in making 3/16/04 a day you and I will always remember -- and one Republicans will never forget.
Thank you for joining me in standing behind John Kerry at a pivotal moment in his vitally important campaign. You and I have proven it time and time again. Working together, we know how to win. Let's do it again.
Sincerely,
Bill Clinton

Date: 2004-03-16 09:07 pm (UTC)oh good grief- most of the freakin WORLD wants him out of office! even the countries that were our "friends" think he is a big egotistical bully, among other things. tony blair may back him up, but most of the uk is totally ticked off at him for doing so and it is looking like he very well may not be prime minister next election over it.
he can't really think other leaders don't want him out, can he? i mean, he can't possibly be that clueless... he must be saying all of that just to put doubt in the minds of voters... right?

Date: 2004-03-17 06:33 am (UTC)Kerry is catching up, lately. There have been several polls lately that show the gap narrowing between the two candidates.
