Perhaps you're right. I've never heard of that particular term before tonight. Of course, these sores looked more bloody than pus-like (let the record reflect that I almost wrote "pussy", which seemed a tad awkward, here.)

Hey, new icon! Coolio. Hm, pussy-like sores, don't think I want to go there, either. Don't know quite where I picked up suppurating - must have been all those non-fiction books on biowarfare, The Hot Zone, etc.
