A raging case o' the Mondays

Today was on the nasty-busy side. I sure didn't help that I slept through my alarms. I have a distinct memory of checking my alarms and setting them last night. but I do know my cat was marauding about the night stand. Feh.

The work was flowing today, full of pesky annoyances. Oooh, and there shall be more tomorrow!

I want a lengthy vacation. But I shan't get it. Such is life.

But I've got good friends. I've got good wine, Aretha Franklin and Patsy Cline!

Oh, I also picked up this tidbit on yahoo news about how the brain reacts to its own mistakes similarly to how the brain reacts seeing others make mistakes.

I personally was rather fascinated by the study. Odd. I don't flog myself with a baseball bat when I make mistakes.
