Remember folks, we're fighting for the freedom of Iraqis. To prove that we are a good and noble, we'll use our treatment of prisoners as an example. We shy away from atrocities. Oh, yes we do. We don't play the sorts of games that lesser evil nations do. Not at all.



What better way to show a people who do not trust us that we can be trusted to preserve their freedom.

Well hell! At least we're not cutting off their limbs! We blow them off with bombs and stuff, but that doesn't count, right? Right?

Yes. But it's war. And less than noble people use war as an excuse for poor behavior.
