Saturday, after my morose rant, I went over to my progenitor's house and helped her around the house. I kept her fairly busy, so she didn't have too much time to reminisce about bad memories. But she did slip in a few. Including one I hadn't heard.

Well, fancy that. Mom is still hiding more bad memories.

Sunday morning featured Call of Cthulhu. I managed to not lose sanity! That's because my character, having been through three months of therapy, is refusing to look at scary nasties this trip. Professor Lucy Harrison-Beaton (my character) prefers to go insane during the school year, not during her summer vacation at an old indian burial ground. So there.

It is unfortunate that our gaming group is kind of dwindling. Curses for people having lives!

I'm hooked. It's official. Zarathustra is up to level 8. A friend of mine and I bummed around yesterday to help each other level. I helped him get to 8, but I died so many times it ain't funny. I'm still 325 experience points in debt. Damn death, I say! Damn!
