No City of Heroes for me tonight. Must study.

During lunch today I visited my comic store of choice. I hadn't swung by there in over a month. Perhaps nearly two. I acquired over fourty bucks o' comic bliss:

-Three issues of Swamp Thing
-Two Issues of Fables (June and July)
-Two Issues of The Last Man
-Two Issues of Thessaly, Witch for Hire, which I am enjoying
-Two issues of Fallen Angel
-30 Days of Night
-1602.

Ya know, [livejournal.com profile] scarcrest, I never did get that extra Issue 1 of 1602 you offered me. Therefore, you will have to read the comic book to me. ;-p

Now, back to studying.

Excellent choices.

I recommend anything by Steve Niles, as well as 'Lone' (for post apocalyptic cowboy vs. zombies action), 'Demo' by Brian Wood (excellent one-off B/W storytelling by the guy who wrote 'Channel Zero') and the new 'Tim Hunter/Age of Magic' series coming out next month.
