I had called taogrl yesterday with my "wild hair idea" of driving to Oregon this weekend. (Around Ashland, to be specific)

My objective is to merely explore, and see where the day takes us. Nothing more.

She called me to ask for more information as to what my plans were.

I said, "I've got a tour book. I have my car."
She continued, laughing, "And you have a gas card."
I replied, "Yup."

So it's on. We'll leave in the morning, head up, see how far we get and come down the next morning.

argh. (Taps fingers on table.) Note that I used the small "C" when I wrote that I was a catholic drinker. Here's the etymology according to the sucky online dictionary I use:

So as with many other things, the Church of Paul had Hijacked a perfectly serviceable and descriptive term and twisted it into the Inquisition and Priests who took their Classical Education a bit too seriously and thought that Pederasty was still a good thing......
