I just watched the last episode in the first set of Homicide DVDs. The hour-long interrogation of Adena's killer.
Sheesh. Good stuff.
Today was busy at the office. We have two large moves going on today and tomorrow, and the Limey had to leave work early, needing to shove the work onto me. Well, I volunteered for the work, mainly because I am the lead on the move tomorrow, so I want to deal with any issues that might bleed into my move.
This was good, the day progressed quickly. Afterwards, I took WSC, visiting from our Norfolk office, out to dinner at the Rio City cafe. The food was so/so. I think their quality has suffered. However, it was by the river. We had a pleasant evening of conversation, and we walked around town, discussing work, and assorted tourist sites.
I think I'm headed to sleep early.

"Three Men and Adena"
Date: 2004-07-30 08:59 am (UTC)Absolutely wonderful stuff.
They might have eventually resolved the case, but Moses Gunn died less than a year after the filming of that episode. So Adena's death remained unsolved, just like the real-life case that inspired it. As you watch more of the show, as later seasons come out, you'll see how it continues to weigh on Tim's heart.
