The wine tasting was an epicurean experience, as always. H'ors d'oeuvres were:
-stuffed shrimp
-crostini with goat cheese spread and caramelized onions
-a barbequed beef with arugala pesto. (The marinade for the meat approached a teriyaki flavor)
-polenta with some marinara sauce and a little arugala pesto.
-sliced strawberries on a chocolate cookie with mint leaves

The winery featured was Hogue winery. They are located up in Washington State.

I'm 31 pages into reannon's Nocturnal Urges . Good fun!

Now to bathe. I overslept just a wee bit this morning. In fact, I had one of those mornings where I didn't know what day it is, and I think my brain wanted to assume it was Saturday. Bad brain. Bad!

you should join the food porn community if you haven't already. not porn as in fetish or anything, just people drooling over and posting food, recipes, etc.

I am also jealous, because I'm still counting these *&$%! Weight Watchers points (at least I've lost 20 lbs since April)...but I am allowing myself some delicious manchego cheese this week... :-9

Wow! you're doing great! I've lost about 30 pounds over the past 7 months. I'm in a bit of a holding pattern, and enjoying some not-so-diet friendly foods before my next phase to lose more.
