reannon and I are alive and well here. My mother already called me to express her concern about the fact that Frances, a hurricane system that is bigger than Texas, is headed our way, and supposed to hit ground on Saturday.

We shall see.

I hope those who actually live where the hurricane is going to hit are going to be okay. Better yet, I hope it dies down.

I have been taking some pictures of our festivities tonight. Lots of geeks. So many geeks. taogrl, there are so many men here who are so yours.

And everyone give taogrl a round of applause, for she is taking on my two little predators, in addition to her own pets. Last I heard from taogrl, she said if Sascha doesn't pass out from hissing(at her dog, Gemini), she thinks everything will be okay.

There's wireless access in our hotel room. Yay!

scarcrest, we'll probably be crank calling you at least once during this weekend.
