I suppose it should be time to go to bed.

As a recap today, I did manage to:

• do my web development homework.
  
• clean up the kitchen
  
• jog a wee bit.
  
• took a nap! Will wonders never cease!
  
• play the drums...while tipsy. The poison was a Magellan Gin and Tonic.
  
• mess around with Elonka's Phreaknic v3.0 tutorial. Fun stuff.
  

I talked to ariedana tonight. Then we had simo signal outage, so our call was terminated.

I suppose bed is in order. I do have to be at work tomorrow.

Does the tipsiness interfer with your syncopation? I know that when I play my recorders when I'm a wee bit more Tank'ed that my run/trill/finish combos get really sloppy- but hey, I'm drunk, so I don't notice as much.....

No, the tipsiness doesn't interfere, it improves. Drunkenness is a different tale.

Heh...tipsy is one thing, but drunk is another, right? For singers, the intonation can really go to hell when the majority of the choir is drunk, let alone missed entrances which end up creating a completely different piece...I unfortunately have video evidence of this at a party on our UK tour this summer...urgh... However, a glass or two of red wine really helps my voice with my upper range, especially after a long day of being the only soprano in a quartet for Christmas caroling...damn Carol of the Bells! ;)

Exactly. Drunk is bad. But tipsy loosens me up a bit to feel the beat a bit better. I get too analytical and critical when I'm completely sober. At least so far. :-)
