I think I posted something about the Levi's situation in a comment in your journal before. My dad told me about it because he's in the trucking business and has bad things to say about Wal-Mart.
I didn't realize that you could get a gallon of pickles for less than $3. That's almost obscene.
I've only shopped at Wal-Mart once and I got a TV (there wasn't anywhere else to go at that time). It is doubtful that I will ever shop there again. They are going to open a store in Ithaca that will probably ruin a bunch of other businesses.
