Of all the things that are going wrong in the world, the fact that I'm annoyed that I got stiffed on my home theatre install shows just how shallow I am. Of course, it didn't help that my equipment did arrive in town last night, 7 hours after my original install date was planned. Grrr! Perhaps it's a good thing. I might take the system back, in the event of certain life-altering events.
And now, after I toss another load o' laundry in, I'm snuggling up to a book.
- I got up early and went to work to help work on a cabling project. We'll be drastically revamping the entire office, and that includes our cabling infrastructure. We needed to verify some data for some number crunching that the mucky-mucks have to do.
- I returned home from work, grabbed lunch, did some laundry, got some groceries, and took out the trash.
- I had to test out my security alarm because ADT said they didn't get a signal from my alarm system last month. I had to test it for a minute. That was not fun. I locked the cats in the far bedroom so they wouldn't take the brunt of the noise. Oh, that was nasty.
