I got to bash Intelligent Design and Bill O'Reilly in a single stroke in class today. We're covering Karl Popper's falsification theory of science and I used this dialogue (http://evolutionblog.blogspot.com/2005/01/oreilly-again.html) from 'the factor' to broach the topic of intellegent design and why it's not scientific, according to Popper.

I pitched it to them as though O'Reilly was actually a comic genius, masterfully engaging in Socratic Irony, rather than, as he may appear to the untrained eye, a moron suffering from rectal-crainial inversion who has no clue what he's talking about.

Oh very nice!

This issue is being bounced around in another friend's journal. What have you heard about the book "A Case for a Creator" by Lee Strobel?

Can't say I've heard of it. I know a number of the larger creationist 'thinkers' but I don't think I've heard of him before I read that post.
