I am glad I found out I have a program that nicely captures screenshots of dvds I watch on computer. Now, on a whim, I can capture shots I think are fun, like Elastigirl looking stoned:

Did you hear that flap about how "The Incredibles" is supposed to be filled with Ayn Rand propaganda?

It's Sonic's MyDVD, I believe. It's the same program I use to rip my dvds that I download off my Tivo with TivoToGo.

No, I didn't hear that flap. I mean, there are some similarities, like all the heroes (Atlas-types) who because of ungrateful citizens suing them, "shrugging" and going into anonymity. However, these "Atlases" did it with government support. This strikes me as more similar to the X-men idea that the government regulates the supers because their powers are so extraordinary as to be construed as a threat. Though even that isn't quite right.
