How I spent my Easter
Mar. 28th, 2005 01:06 amSo, the big joke is that I drag out clothes to be given away to charity, then head off to my mother's house, and it rains. So, we'll see if the charity van even comes. And then there's soaking wet unwanted clothes to deal with. Feh. I'm so annoyed by that. Surely God isn't punishing me for purchasing a certain floaty pen?
Dinner with mom was delightful. I took care of some things around the house for her. Upon returning home, I took the trash out to the curb and proceeded to cuddle up to a nice, stark copy of Frank Miller's "Sin City: the Hard Goodbye". Fantastic. Funny how the women seem to be nearly naked all of the time. I guess the women in Sin City save on air conditioning. And it's not an accident that Kevin's shirt/sweater is reminiscent of Charlie Brown's shirt with an inverted color scheme, is it?
Loved the book. I suppose bed would be a novel notion.

Glad you had a good Easter.
