My cake decorating class was most interesting. I look forward to next week, when we decorate our first cake. I now have an excuse to buy some fun cake decorating gear, too. :-)

Okay. What the frick is Tiger Direct's malfunction? On the eve of Apple releasing their OS upgrade: Tiger, they are suing Apple for infringing on its trademark. They trademarked Tiger? Why aren't they suing every frickin' Zoo in America? And after this media blitz, why didn't Tiger jump on Apple right away? We've known it was coming out for months.

Of course, Apple may have to stop shipment of Tiger, which frosts my hide.

Gosh, I can see the problem. After all, who wouldn't be pissed off to order a Tiger, thinking it comes from the fine folks at Tiger Direct, only to learn it's an inferior Apple product instead?

Uh, yeah. It's like apples and oranges, IMO. Or tigers and lions. LOL.

Agreed. I was attempting sarcasm. Not very well, evidently. I think Pussies Direct would probably not be a good angle. They'd be getting an entirely different sort of clientale than they want. LOL.

Because, of course, I have nothing else to do, I read the comments on that article, and this one cracked me up:

I called'em!!! Asked'em if they sold OS 10.4 Tiger. He said, "What's that?" I said, "It's Tiger. You're TigerDirect, right?"
"I don't know what that is, sir. Do you have a product number?"
"Uh....you're TigerDirect, right? It's Tiger. You're Tiger. I'm confused here."
"Sir, where did you find this product?"
"Uh....I searched with Google. That's where I found it...er, you...on Google."
"Sir, we don't sell that product."
"But you're TigerDirect, right?"
"Yes, sir."
"Well, it's Tiger ,too. I'm confused here. Okay, well...I guess I'll have to look for the Tiger somewhere's else. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"
