Frosting, frosting everywhere

weaktwosWell, at least there was last night. Nothing billows out from a kitchen aid mixer like meringue powder, I tell ya.
Years from now, if I get a big meringue tumor in my lungs, I'll know why, thanks to this post.
Work has been absorbing during the day. I haven't had any time to myself, really. We've got coworkers together to document all our processes, and I'm in charge of it. We are doing pretty well, I think, and making good progress.
The downside, of course, is having my candy-ass show up to work at 8am. Feh.
Veronica Mars last night was phenomenal. Mr. Thomas did a nice job of leaving us with a cliff hanger that will guarantee I that I shall be moist with anticipation come season two.
Did I guess who doneit? Hell no.
Tonight was Martini tasting. It was delightful. Shrimp ceviche, grape and cheese skewers with a balsamic glaze, crabcakes, white mousse and raspberries, asparagus with prosciutto.
On the way home, I also addressed a problem I nearly had with a dishwashing detergent shortage. I'm now solid in detergent for several months.
Friday night will feature some server work after hours and the preparation of creme brulee. Saturday will feature drum lessons, drum practice, and a dinner that requires the presence of creme brulee.
