weaktwosThe weekend has arrived, and I am content.
The cake I brought to work was devoured. They definitely like the flavor of the buttercream frosting over crisco. I think buttercream over the cake, and then crisco for the actual decorations is the way to go.
After work, I hit the gym for a bit, then went home. Upon arriving home, I walked to Trader Joes to get a few goods for tonight. It was a pleasant walk.
Though I found out something I had suspected. Marshall, the pleasant old neighbor across the street passed away last October. It's may now, and Joanne is still not over it. It's been quite an adjustment for them. Tis sad.
Upon coming home. I realized something quite foolish that I did. Very foolish. I will not divulge what it was. Not until May 27th, 2010. That's when I feel certain I'll feel like less of an idiot. Fear not. Nobody died due to my stupidity. It's just a papercut on the delicate fingers of my ego. Dumbass. Dumbass. Such. A. Dumbass.
Now I'm finishing up dinner, a beverage, and watching my new Guster DVD (came with the Guster on Ice CD). I must see these chaps in concert. I must. Alas, no concerts near my neck of the woods any time soon.
My lads of the Nutwalls are finishing shaping our next song for Songfight. I am told it will be another fast one. So practice I must.
