Today was a busy day. The hightlight of which was attending brittadotcom's Harry Potter party. She did a magnificent job, as she always does, and a fine time was had.

I raced home and yanked book 6 out of the mailbox, and now I'm going to use my final strands of consciousness to read some of it.

Oh, and a very happy birthday to ariedana. I hope your day is a delightful one, and that the coming year brings you many delightful surprises!

Okay, small world moment...I work at a yarn shop, and the manager is Nathania. The last few days, one of the recurring conversation topics has been this HP party she's going to, and her friend Britta, and how great her HP parties are, etc etc. So then I go look at your friend brittadotcom's LJ, and think "hey, wasn't 'Britta.com' Nathania's friend's URL?" And look, it's the same person.

So I guess I know a couple of people who were there. Fantastic.
