This morning was rather pleasant. I took my car in for a smog test (the old car, Sta-puft). So that's done. Now to get ready for work . I technically start at 2, but I think I'll go in early and start work on stuff. I wouldn't mind leaving early tonight.

I acquired some new music last night. I hit Amazon's marketplace and got the used cds of Thievery Corporation and Travis. Someone recommended them to me, so I shall explore.

Maximus is currently being a needy cat, and perched upon my neck, his paws hanging down over my left arm, his head draped over my shoulder. I remember when he was tiny, and light weight. Now letting him drape on my shoulders counts as exercise.

I'd be interested in hearing what you think of Thievery Corporation... there are a couple of folks on my LJ list who always seem to have Thievery Corporation as their current music :)

I already like Lebanese Blond, which shows up in the movie the Garden State and it is on the soundtrack cd. I listened to a few sound bites off of iTunes and was rather intrigued, too.
