The Fandom of the Opera
Someone lives in the underground tunnels of Fresno. Deformed due to a freak accident involving hotwings at Hooter's, he dwells in the catacombs writing Slash fiction for any number of shows that he is able to siphon away from unsuspecting satellite TV subscribers.
(inspired by my ambivalent reaction to the movie version of Phantom of the Opera)

Date: 2006-01-02 07:27 am (UTC)Yeah, as an ALW Phantom fan from way back, I was disappointed in the movie version when I saw it in the theatre last January. The costumes & sets were awesome, but the singing left much to be desired, which is too bad. Why they couldn't use an actual Broadway-quality cast for the movie I have no idea...
