Of Ariel Sharon's Stroke:

"He was dividing God's land, and I would say, 'Woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the [European Union], the United Nations or the United States of America,'" Robertson told viewers of his long-running television show, "The 700 Club."

I really like Jon Stewart's response to this claim. The video is not up on Comedy Central's site, yet, but they showed a picture of Sharon, who was looking reasonably rotund. Stewart adds, "I believe it was weight, age, and stress that were more likely to cause that stroke."

Any extreme like that is scary.

This is true, but they can certainly stand on the claim that they are committed... and probably should be.

An open mind is a terrible thing to waste unfortunately too many people equate open mindness with weakness or having to commit to what the other person is saying instead of agreeing to disagree.
