Here's what I was thinking most of the way through Million Dollar Baby--that it was a well-done, but familiar underdog story. wow!

Yeah. I read the short story last year. The movie/story spars with you. You move with the rhythm of the plot, thinking you know how it's going to duck and dodge. Next thing you know, you're flat on your literary back asking for your mommy.
