But it's Changing Rooms on BBC America which is the original show that started back in 1997 (when I lived over there)...Trading Spaces is the remake on TLC...Ground Force is another one but I'm not sure they show it anymore. I heard those finally stopped being made this past year...waah!
BBC America is one of my default channels...aside from the reality home/self improvement shows (What Not To Wear, Cash in the Attic, Bargain Hunters), Johnathan Creek is great, Father Ted is funny, etc...There is usually something to watch there, except when they fall back on Benny Hill...ugh!
Another tidbit...HGTV ran a survey a couple years ago to discover their most popular shows, and the frontrunner was a write-in vote of Trading Spaces - which is NOT on their network...heh! Hence all the redesign of existing HGTV shows and creation of new shows all based on a surprise... ;)
P.S. The special "When Changing Rooms Met Ground Force" a couple years ago was absolutely hilarious...Changing Rooms' Lawrence of the frilly cuffs & leather pants working out in the mud was to die for! hahahaha...
Hey! I don't go out of my way to watch them! I record the bbc news that comes on at 3am, so when I get up, I turn on the tv so my brain doesn't go back to sleep and these shows are on. I can't believe some of the rubbish people will buy at auction!
