It's a lovely Sunday morning. It's raining impressive quanities. I am enjoying sipping some Peet's coffee and eating crumpets with the window open, and a cool breeze slipping inside my house.

Now to crack open the sunday newspaper.

I too am enjoying watching the rain fall down with a cup of Peets, but alas, no crumpets, only blue peeps.

The consistency of a crumpet is similar to an english muffin. Or perhaps it's more like the progeny of a forbidden love affair between a pancake and an english muffin. At least, that's what the package I bought from the Food Cooperative taste like.

Blue Peeps and Peet's. You'll be whirling around the elk grove area on a caffeinated sugar high any moment now. :-)
