taogrl and I hit the road and drove northward to see the Scottish Games. Some photos of the event are here.

Since I have no clear association with any Scottish clans, I tried to get adopted by the Clan Cunningham, mainly because their motto is "Over, Fork Over". I apparently, a common farmer saved the life of a Prince on the lam by covering him with hay. He used a fork to accomplish this task.

After the finale, one group of pipers processed our way. I caught it on video.

It is worthy to note that shortly thereafter, they relieved themselves of their burdens and proceeded to fetch beers. The young men in the group "swordfought" with their drumsticks.
