So, Raytheon's punishment of William Swanson for plagiarizing is only a loss of a salary INCREASE? And perhaps some stock options?

And let's talk about the coincidence of Mr. Swanson's choice of book title, "Swanson's Unwritten Rules of Management". Good lord.

Of course, this isn't too surprising, some business books really don't have anything new to offer to the world of business and leadership. It's just considered cool, I surmise, for a CEO to have a book like that under his belt.

hard one there since he clearly fucked up, but yet as his day job, a CEO, he did a very good job for Raytheon. i wouldn't buy his book though ;-) as you said, without that revelation it would likely not have been too valuable anyway.
