Alright, folks. I'm about to upgrade my Tivo using Instant Cake. I'm going for a 300gb hard drive. Let's see if this works....

oooh what is this instant cake you speak of? i am wondering if i can just use partition magic on the hard drive i already have and make it larger. mine's 150Gb on a 225gb hd. initially the linux kernel they used didn't support 64 bit filesystem drivers so that was as big as i could go. now with version 7 it can handle that. i wonder if i could just increase the partition and voila. i'd still have to open the damn thing again :-)
