One Cat Night

I busted out the winter comforter last night. I think it's just a few degrees to warm for that, but just barely. I slept pretty soundly. All I know is that I fell asleep on my stomach and awoke this morning to find a soft grey kitty nestled in between my chest and my right arm, his head resting under my neck.

I's a good thing Sascha doesn't smell bad.

Root canal in a few hours. Party on.

The root canal process is actually pretty damn cool. The local anesthetic does the job quite nicely.

Nah, they root canals are pretty painless...It definitely won't be worse than the pain that brought this on. :-)

I'm out and sipping a coffee at Starbucks now. :-)

Yeah, I mean upper right jaw feels like it got mugged, but it's not debilitating. :-)

There's also a version of See Line Woman that came off the soundtrack for The General's Daughter. It sounded like it was sampled from a version that was older than Nina Simone, but I could be wrong.

I'll have to see if I can find Nina Simone music so that I can compare the two. At least I know the title of it (used to think it was Sea Lion Woman) now. ;)
