New City of Heroes Character

I took some time off studying this evening and goofed around on City of Heroes. I created The Eternal Flyer. Essentially, she's the ghost of Amelia Earhardt. This character will be getting some wings when the new City of Heroes issue comes out.

Anyway, newbabel joined me for some missions and he really dug my character costume. During one mission, he asked me to take a look at myself because I was looking rather ghostly in the lighting of the cave. When I changed my camera angle, I was greeted with this view:



Of course, instead of seeing my ghostly visage, I was greeted with an eyeful of ".Fallout", newbabel's character, in addition to a slight parody of the James Bond movie intro shot of Bond between the legs of some sexy woman. Well, at least I found it amusing. Given Ex-Amelia's facial expression, she did, too.

Here's another shot of us, checking out the criminals before we "sent them off to prison".

Wow...how long does it take ex-Amelia to lace up those boots each day? ;) I think her legs are even longer than mine...haha...

I have to agree, those are some long legs! Not that I mind of course. ;) It just looks a bit off. Is it a result of camera angle or something?

it's probably a result of the fact that my monitor is widescreen and I think some distortion occurred between when I cropped it and uploaded it.

Amelia last laced those boots before she died. So it hasn't been an issue for decades. ;-)
