Nasa will have a base on the moon with construction beginning in 2020.

Isn't that cool? You folks with kids, time to get them hard into the sciences and engineering, and in flight-worthy shape. Being an astronaut might never be so cool!

And buy stock in Lockheed Martin, it appears they will be building said ship.

I'd be excited, except I expect Congress to start slashing NASA's budget before we get back to the moon. Especially to cover the Iraq debt.

I hope it really happens. It would be nice to live long enough to see a human colony on some other world... even if it is only a quarter million miles away. It's not good having all our eggs in one basket on this rock. It's been hit before and it will be hit again and we could all become history in no time at all.
