Standards of journalistic decency be damned, some news articles should be allowed to have "Holy Fucking Shit" in the headline. This news item is no exception:

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) -- Two missing St. Louis-area boys, one of them missing since 2002, were found alive in a Kirkwood, Missouri, apartment, and a suspect was arrested, Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke said Friday.

That's right, one missing since 2002.

I'm so glad they have been found. I simply pray that they are able to heal from this experience and return to their rightfully regularly scheduled program of being a kid.

You should have seen the jaws hit the floor in the newsroom. Hell, none of us thought they'd find BEN alive after four days, much less Shawn, whom we'd all given up by the year of our Lord 2003.

Still makes me want to shackle the Kiddo to my wrist until he's, oh, twenty-one and well-trained in about nine martial arts.
