This just in...a laundry first!

Just now, as I was extracting laundry from the dryer, an amazing thing happened. Never, in my years of laundering has this happened.

Matching socks tumbled out of my dryer, together.

Is this a harbinger for things to come? Could this launch an era of harmony and good will among human kind? Could they be holy socks? Should I play the lottery? Can I use these socks to predict the future?
