Of working on the weekends

I'm not fond of it at all. The truncating of my weekend is harmful to my oft calm and chipper demeanor. Today we worked 6 hours. Just now, I settled into bed, and someone called me from work. I missed the call by the time I got to my cell phone.

Hopefully, nothing comes of that, for I will be in the office at 8am anyway.

Blargh.

The good news is, Arcade Fire was on SNL tonight. I love them even more!

I would have to say the worst part about working on the weekend is that I am a night owl, and I don't want to go to bed yet. However, since I'm long-long-long past 18, I just can't run on as little sleep as I could in the day.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I'm cranky right now.

However, the good news is:
1. Seeing Arcade Fire on SNL
1a. Arcade Fire is playing in Berkeley on June 1st and 2nd
2. I have tickets to see the Police in Oakland in June.
3. I think I'll be buying a toy with the proceeds from overtime. Hint: it rhymes with clingsocks.
4. It's raining outside!
5. I had a great drum lesson today and a good afternoon with taogrl.
6. Richard Shindell is touring California soon.

I too saw the Arcade Fire on SNL, and they rocked. I can't wait for this next album. Their appearance on the digital short was neat too.

Did you notice how they ran off at the end, and didn't stick around to chill with the cast?

I did notice. I don't recall ever seeing the stage that sparse after a show. I was kinda bummed about that. I wonder where they went off to?
