Has that asshole even READ the bible? The most common form of marrige in the old testament (as is the case for most cultures throughout history) is polygymy. 'One man, MANY women.' When will these Christians actually read the book they think society should be based on?

the first guy's argument is ridiculous.. he acts like the only way to have a child is through natural means.. plenty of infertile couples go the exact route the women couple did. Would they be having such an issue about a hetero couple? Of course not. it's a double standard with no logic. Even a married couple who has a child through donated sperm would be in the same situation legally unless the man adopts the baby, it seems.

I think it's cruel to take a child from a loving and beloved parent.. period.

Yes, it is. I'm amazed that there are people that think this simply, and pride themselves on supporting policies that are so limited.

Yes, but that kind of arrangement is okay. You just don't want same-sex people having sex and raising children. That's just icky.

Since religious organization rely on large numbers, they will favor a scheme that maximizes child birth and minimizes whatever they can't wrap their brains around.
