...Such that Secret Clinal Strength needs to exist? Really, is it so wrong to sweat a little?

Does this mean we'll have a bunch of pristine armpits left behind in crematoriums?

I'm not sure I understand your concern. You might as well ask "Is it so wrong to be hairy that razors need to exist?"

Well, I've just never noticed chronic sweaters that need "clinical" strength deodorant. Nasty BO encounters have been minimal in my experience. I figure regular deodorant, basic hygiene and maybe a nice eau de parfum was satisfactory.

It's all a matter of personal preference, though, isn't it? After all, if there weren't a market for such a product, it wouldn't likely exist for very long.

Sure it is. Still moist pits didn't seem like a problem amongst the public at large. I hadn't even heard people lament over their condition of sweaty pits. So, this new ad campaign caught me off guard.

I've never had a BO issue -- regular deoderants are fine for that. It's just a quantity issue :P

Dunno, it depends on what you mean by "sweat a little." I have yet to find an anti-perspirant that makes a dent in my sweating. When you buy clothes based on whether you think you'll have hand-sized or larger sweat stains under your arms after a half hour wear, then it's more than just "sweating a little." It doesn't even matter if I'm hot or cold -- I can be shivering and still have sweat-soaked pits.

So I'm actually glad to see this. I'll give it a try.

Well, there ya go. I guess you folks hide it well. I had no idea this was a problem. I work in a building with 650 people. I would have thought I would have encountered more people with torrential pits.

But yeah, let me know if it improves matters. I'm curious now.

They actually do Botox for it. Problem with that is, the sweat has to go somewhere, which means you then have a sudden sweating problem somewhere else on your body -- palms, lower back, etc.

I seriously do buy shirts according to how well they hide sweat. I'll buy a larger size if it means it won't be all up in my armpits.

See, it seems natural and harmless to me to see people with sweaty pits. Especially if this deodorant has any sort of similar effect as Botox.

I probably am more paranoid about it than I need to be, because I got teased a LOT about it in middle school. But see, sweaty pits on a summer day? Or when I'm exercising? sure. Sweaty pits when I'm sitting still in a climate controlled building in the middle of spring? Kind of embarrasing.

Damn middle school! Making us embarassed about things we don't need to be!

Well, there are people who have real medical problems that this kind of thing was made to help with - as a prescription - but dammit, people who need that kind of extra help should be going to a doctor to find out what the underlying issue is.
