It's seven o'clock in the morning and as the morning sun insinuates itself between the slats of my blinds, my awareness and acceptance of my fate to get up soon and go to work dawns .

SpikeTV is broadcasting paid television this time of morning, and I am blessed with the programming of the Prophet Peter Popoff and his miraculous ministries. Given the demographics of Spike TV, I'm surprised they are broadcasting on this network. Apparently, he sends out a toothpaste sized tube of miracle spring water. Some of the testimonials of his flock site instances of divine spiritual transfers of money to their accounts. Others have given up drugs, received custody of grandchildren, and given up being gay, thanks to the glory of God and their patronage of Peter Popoff.

Strange indeed. I'm amazed people like this are allowed to do business.

I am left wondering what Peter Popoff does to this spring water, except for putting it in a new container. I think it's time someone found his miracle water factory.

And now a little research suggests that Peter Popoff has been around for years doing this crap, and I have somehow ignored it.

Goodness, this stuff pisses me off. This guy fleeces people for 16 million dollars a year!

Cockroaches never are gone for good. It saddens me to see people who prey upon the hopes and faith of exasperated, suffering people. Does he delude himself into believing by giving people hope for a fee that such positive energy in their head will heal them? Or is he downright evil and simply wants to take money from generous believers?
