A recent, unintended scientific test involving Chai Tea was performed.

Conditions:
-partially consumed chai tea was left unattended in a closed travel mug.
-it was left there for a week.
-backwash may have been present.

Results:
-Chai Tea loses it's spicy alluring sweetness.
-Newly metamorphosed substance smells like pungent and undesirable cheese.
-increased viscosity.
-intensely malodorous. (see bullet two above)
-scientist left swearing she will never do that again.
