I was driving home tonight, after workin' a few extra hours of overtime. The station was on NPR. The Commonwealth Club of California was broadcasting a speech by Sister Helen Prejean --made famous by Susan Sarandon playing her role in Dead Man Walking. There are times when I feel all for the death penalty. But listening to her, I find her commentary compelling.
