As others have said, a positive attitude is key. To get something you want, you have to focus and not give up. Desire followed by planning and execution. It helps to have a positive attitude. If you waste your time with negative energy, you're more likely to stop going for that which you want. Then again, maybe you don't really want it. But there are limits. And this book does appear to take common sense and sell it for a price.
Believe me...attitude isn't everything. There's a bunch of us who really wanted Al Gore to win some years back...
