I wonder how many cat owners around the world are awkwardly stumbling over their cats at any given time, who seem to have a predilection for pausing just behind one's feet.

cats are quick learners...

..that is when the outcome is desired by the cat

Willow quickly learned that after dinner is treat time for the 'humans' so whenever one of us trots to the kitchen in the evening, following along and flopping like some dead thing on our feet brings on a kitty treat (sometimes--but she's always hoping)

I don't let my cats out to bring me dead treats, thank goodness.:)

guess I need to write English more clearly...

the cat doesn't bring 'dead things', she flops down as if she were a 'dead thing' :)
