Baby Doc came over tonight and we went to have Sushi at Osaka Sushi in Elk Grove. The sushi wasn't that bad. We sat at the bar and little boats floated around with fresh (I hope) sushi to take as you wished.

Then we rented "Riding in Cars with Boys" from Blockbuster. It had some charming moments. Then we kvetched about how difficult it is finding suitable mates. She's got it even worse than I do. She's more intelligent than I. Too much of an ego deflater for the average male. Her poor asian mother doesn't help, either. She gets astrology charts done to find out when her daughter will get married. Gee, no pressure, though.

I'm sure, in time, all will work out as it should.

Here it is, 1:30am, and I'm broiling filet mignon for Mother's Day. I'll be takin' me mum out for a picnic, per her request, so for our picnic sandwiches, I fetched some filets to broil and slice for the little breads we have. Since I'm joining her in this endeavor, we're both making out like bandits. Mmmm good.
