Last night was fun...we had less people than desired for gaming, but such is life. We had a lot of laughs with Feng Shui....Lots of action and explosions. Quite light relative to Call of Cthulhu. I love both games, though. [livejournal.com profile] patricks brought the soundtracks to Alias, Mission Impossible 2, The Replacement Killers, and an Evanescence CD for music while gaming. I through in some music by the Clash and The Crystal Method, which provided some fast paced music for our sundry chase scenes.

During this exciting game, I guzzled about 6 cups of tea. Oops. It was caffeinated tea. I was rather alert. The game didn't finish until midnight, but I was still up and at 'em. I cleaned up the kitchen. Checked the mail, burned a few dvds, cleaned up my room in a few spots, lifted some weights, blah blah blah.

Finally I passed out while watching a bit of the Lord of the Rings.

I woke up at 7am feeling like a raisin.

I bought poker Kem Cards on ebay!

I still feel like a raisin. I drank some wa-wa. I got better. The cats piled on for their Friday morning dose of Annie-lovin'.

Today's objectives: drum practice, grocery shopping, and poker!

What if the main problem in all these economically and politically confusing times is that some of our indicators are shitty? The rules of our economy is shifting. People are doing business a little differently. We know statistics are misleading.

Consider this report. I have been of the mindset lately, that what we are using to represent "success" of our economy is not cutting the mustard. To some extent, I agree with some of the findings of this organization, Redefining Progress.
