'Tis the night before my spontaneous road trip, and I'm still up. Stoopid chicken.

I'm watching the Bourne Identity.

My cowbell mount arrived. I have some cool new drum beats to learn. Life is good.

I should sleep soon, for I must get up soon. Feh.

Greetings from Ashland, Oregon

taogrl and I rolled into Ashland at about 1:30pm. It was h-h-hot. It is hot. Were it not for the air conditioning in this little Motel, I'd be donating all my liquid to the atmosphere.

The drive from Sacramento took about 4.5 hours, give or take 30 minutes with rest stops and our picnic lunch.

We made no reservations; we simply rolled into town like two sweaty people who owned the joint. Well, not exactly, but we were able to appropriate:

-Two tickets to see Henry VI, Part II and III. (we read up on part 1 on the internet) Our seats are in the second row! Hot damn, Vietnam!

-Found a motel room with three(3) double beds for $73 a night in South Ashland wiiiiiiith....free wireless internet! And air conditioning. It's nothing fancy, but it is fantabulous for the price and at the last minute.
