(no subject)

Today was a busy day, with some amount of frustration. It was supposed to be a day of catching up. It was supposed to be so productive.

And it was, eventually. Except for that wasted hour where I went to get lunch at the Elephant Bar, and they gave me the absolutely, totally, completely wrong lunch order. and of course, I found this out when I got back to work.*sigh*

You shouldn't have to open each container and see if what you received was what you ordered.

BabyDoc and I went to see I, Robot and dined at the Cheesecake Factory. The Cheesecake Factory is a people watching extravaganza. How do people comport themselves when they are forced to wait an hour to be seated?

The answer is: like idiots.

I, Robot was entertaining, I thought. Of course, I never read the original stories. BabyDoc read them years ago, and she enjoyed the film, as well.

BabyDoc gave me information tonight that seems to affirm that men can be spineless little twits sometimes.

I am sleepy. I have much on the mind, but no energy to write it down.

Saturday

I woke up around 8am, thanks to my little predators. Maximus in particular decided my legs were the "Enemy of the Minute" and pounced upon them with such vigor that I had no choice but to surrender.

Mom is over. I made french toast, canadian bacon, with a side o' strawberries. The french toast is key: the leftover custard from creme brulee was utilized. It was soo delicious.

Who knows what the day brings for us yet.

I have finally admitted I have a problem.

A pigeon problem. They have been setting up camp on my roof. I need to come up with a way to get rid of them.

Perhaps an exterminator?
