Aug. 17th, 2004 07:28 amI just tripped over www.getoffended.com. These links below may not be work safe. Well, they pretty much aren't work safe.
scottage, you need this shirt.
And then there's the Glossary of Perversion.
And you will be offended on this site. If you're at work, don't go there.
Addendum:As a female, you might begin to feel annoyed at some of these terms. I truly hope that any many who has personally tested out these perverted terms was shot twice in the chest and once in the head. However, if you view this as a pissing contest among men who attempted to gross each other out with inappropriateness, you might find some amusement in these pages. Especially if you're unfamiliar with some terms like "Cleveland Steamer", "Blumpkin", "Hot Lunch".

Television geekiness
Aug. 17th, 2004 05:25 pmWork was pretty good today. I had some time to indulge in some surfing and came across a few items that I'll be renting off netflix:
-Season 5 of the Highlander is out.
-Seasons 1-4 of Jeeves and Wooster (based on novels by P.G. Wodehouse, a libran born on October 15th, I believe)
And bouncing around, I found out there was a series spinoff of the Anne of Green Gables miniseries called Road to Avonlea. I've mentioned before that one of my dirty little secrets is the Lucy Maud Montgomery series. I read them a few times as a younger lass. Netflix doesn't currently carry the series, but I put in a title request. We'll see if they comply. Otherwise, it looks like I can buy copies of the series off ebay, but for $50 a season.
Feh. Besides, if they are anything like the mcnasty third installment of the Anne of Green Gables series that shows Gilbert and Anne in WWI, I'll just spit. Spit flames. Spit acid and flames. I was not pleased with that treatment, mainly because by then Anne should have been old enough to have grown children who, in the book, actually went to WWI.
Oh well. We shall see.
Nextel Phonewatch: It's here in Sacramento! But I figure it won't make it out for delivery until tomorrow or the next day.
Tonight, we have jogging on the menu.
