Well, it is only three am and I am snug in bed. The network cutover went well. We had 9 folks at work. I was first assisting our system program who oversaw moving all the servers to the new network. I made sure the cables were run and located in the right place on the new switch. I also installed a new server and all associated cabling. Then I helped the network guys troubleshoot some issues as they checked all the switches and connections.

We were able to replace 15 pieces of equipment with roughly two new pieces of equipment. Not a bad swap.

The coffee still courses through my veins. I think I shall be lulling myself to sleep via a crime spree on Vice City.
